OpenID Support
Today I’ve integrated a plugin to the blog that allows you all to log in using an OpenID instead of requiring that you register for this site and manage that password. It’s still there as an option, but it’s no longer the only way.
I’m also going to be looking into the possibility of other authentication systems (LIVE ID, being the big one), but a quick search revealed there wasn’t an existing plugin to handle that. If I get something working, I’ll be sure to let you all know.
Hopefully this makes some of your internet travels just a little bit easier.
Edit: I’ve also added back the ability to edit your profile, so all you OpenID users can make sure to set a real nickname instead of it just showing your OpenID URL :p.
